Long before I worked with Carter Heyward on Flying Changes: Horses as Spiritual Teachers, I looked to animals as some of my earliest teachers. From the family canary to the long-awaited cat and eventually the dog, I sought companionship with my pets. To this day, I consider the bond between us a sacred one. |
